A new budget-friendly AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE graphics card is reportedly on the way, according to a new leak. However, it’s unclear if the card is likely to see a launch in the West, as the GRE branding has typically (although not exclusively) been used for cards released in China. Originally standing for Golden Rabbit Edition, in celebration of the Year of the Rabbit in 2023, AMD recently updated the branding to stand for Great Radeon Edition. While China has been the primary market for GRE GPUs, some cards, such as the AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE, have seen a wider global release, with that card in particular getting a spot in our best graphics card shortlist until recently.
