Why I’m Doing a 30-Day Web Development Challenge — Here’s What I’m Learning
Starting a web development career can feel like a never-ending loop of tutorials and “soon, I’ll get to it.” I’m tired of waiting. So, I’ve decided to take a different route. For the next 30 days, I’m committing to: Building and learning web development every single day Publishing one post on Dev.to or Medium to track progress and share insights This isn’t just about getting better at coding. It’s about proving to myself that I can show up every single day, even when things get tough. What’s the Goal of This Challenge? The purpose is simple: stop overthinking, stop procrastinating, and just build. For the next 30 days, I’m doing the following: Writing one blog post to track my learning Working on a web development project daily (even if it’s just 1 hour) Sharing my journey, so others can follow and learn from my mistakes and progress If I miss a day, I double the work the next day. No excuses. This is about consistency. Why Web Development? Why choose web development as my focus? Because it’s a field I’m passionate about, and there’s always something new to learn. I’m excited to explore the world of: HTML/CSS JavaScript React Tailwind CSS I’m diving deep into building projects, starting with smaller things like a simple portfolio website and progressing to more complex ideas as I go. What You Can Expect from My Posts Throughout this challenge, I’ll be sharing: My web development projects and how I build them from scratch Mistakes I make and how I overcome them Learning resources and tutorials I find useful Productivity tips for staying on track with learning while dealing with daily distractions You’ll see it all — the successes, the struggles, and the lessons.
