PB Fintech offers jobs, education support to families of Pahalgam attack victims
PolicyBazaar parent PB Fintech said these opportunities would be available across its offices in India and are aimed at providing long-term support to the affected families.

PB Fintech, the parent company of Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, will offer jobs to family members of those killed in the recent Pahalgam terror attack and sponsor the education of their children.
The company said these opportunities would be available across its offices in India and are aimed at providing long-term support to the affected families, Alok Bansal, Co-founder and Executive Vice Chairman of PB Fintech, said in a LinkedIn post.
The company has committed to supporting not only civilians but also families of police personnel, paramilitary forces, and armed forces affected by the attack. “This is a small gesture toward building a social security cover for these families,” Bansal said in a LinkedIn post.
PB Fintech is also reaching out to the administration to identify and connect with the impacted families.
"We all have roots in middle-class families and would want to stand firm along with each and every impacted Indian family. This led to an internal discussion with the Board with a single agenda—“Kuch to karna hai”, [Something must be done] and we have decided to create a foundation to support all impacted families. We sure hope that no one has to go through this pain ever, but we will try our best to be always available to support every Indian family, be it civilian, police personal, paramilitary or armed forces," Bansal said in the post.
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, a devastating terrorist attack occurred in Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir. This assault marked the deadliest attack on tourists in the region since 2000, leaving at least 26 people dead and more than a dozen injured.
