Honasa elevates Karan Bajwa as CHRO and Avinash Dhagat as supply chain head

Mamaeart-parent Honasa said both Bajwa and Dhagat have been associated with the company for over four years.

Honasa elevates Karan Bajwa as CHRO and Avinash Dhagat as supply chain head

Mamaearth-parent Honasa Consumer has elevated Karan Bajwa as Chief Human Resources Officer and Avinash Dhagat as Chief Supply Chain Officer, according to a press release.

"Karan and Avinash have played instrumental roles in shaping Honasa’s growth trajectory over the years. As we rewrite the brand playbook in India and build the next generation of beauty and personal care brands, their leadership will be crucial in creating an agile, purpose-led, and innovation-driven organisation," said Varun Alagh, Co-founder and CEO, Honasa Consumer.

Bajwa, who was previously the Senior Vice President – Human Resources, has been associated with Honasa for over four years. Before this, he worked at Airtel.

Bhagat, previously the Senior Vice President – Supply Chain, has also been with the company for about four year. In his earlier stint, he spent over a decade at L'Oréal and left the company as head of supply chain for its consumer division.

Honasa Consumer, which operates brands like Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr Sheth's and The Derma Co, reported 5.9% growth in operating revenue to Rs 517.5 crore. While, its profit remained largely unchanged as last year, it was a strong recovery from a loss in second quarter after the company realized costs from its inventory correction project. It is yet to report its annual and fourth quarter results.

Earlier in the month, the company announced the grant of 24.16 lakh stock options under its ESOP 2028 plan worth Rs 57 crore.
