NVIDIA Announces Plan to Build AI Supercomputers Entirely in the U.S.

NVIDIA revealed plans today to establish a complete manufacturing ecosystem for its AI supercomputers within the United States, a significant step involving major industry partners. The initiative aims to build these powerful systems end-to-end on American soil for the first time.The company announced a collaboration with key manufacturers, commissioning over a million square feet of new factory space. Production of NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture chips has reportedly already begun at partner TSMC's facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a crucial first step in the domestic supply chain.Further down the line, NVIDIA says it will set up supercomputer manufacturing plants in Texas. Foxconn will operate a facility in Houston, while Wistron will manage another in Dallas.
