New Product Renders Reveal Official Pixel 9a Cases

With a launch date scheduled for late March, it’s only a matter of weeks now until we get to see the Pixel 9a, at least officially. With that in mind, newly-leaked photos showing off several Pixel 9a cases have been making rounds online, confirming pretty much everything we knew about the upcoming phone’s design.

As shared by the folks from Android Authority, the photo shows the official Google-made cases for the 9a, which are usually made from silicone. Google hasn’t announced the color names yet, but we can assume that these will be called obsidian, porcelain, iris and peony, the latter two of which are essentially purple and pink, respectively.

The cases also come with a smaller camera cutout compared to the regular Pixel 9 models, as Google has decided to remove the camera bar on the Pixel 9a, instead opting for a smaller camera window. It’s still unknown what pushed this change, especially considering that Google initially made a big deal out of the camera bar design on its smartphones.
