The latter listing confirmed the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 flash storage.
OnePlus has recently confirmed that the name of its upcoming compact flagship is the OnePlus 13T. Now, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus 13T will have a massive battery, not to mention the phone’s weight.
The OnePlus 13T will feature a massive battery, it will be at least 6,000mAh in terms of capacity
A recent rumor suggested that the OnePlus 13T would include a 6,200mAh battery, and that’s easily possible following this confirmation. Li Jie, the President of OnePlus China, confirmed that the phone’s battery capacity starts with a ‘6’. In other words, it will be at least a 6,000mAh unit.
Considering that the device is said to include a 6.3-inch display, that will be a massive battery capacity. It would be a massive battery for a 6.9-inch phone, let alone a 6.3-inch one. And yes, considering the size of the phone, a silicon-carbon battery will be used unless OnePlus wants a truly thick device.
Furthermore, OnePlus did confirm that this will be a smaller smartphone, while it also left a bold claim for everyone to see. OnePlus said that it will offer the “best battery life ever”. That is a bold claim considering that phones with 10,000mAh+ batteries are out there, but OnePlus was probably referring to high-end compact phones.
The phone’s weight has also been confirmed
On top of that, the OnePlus 13T’s weight has been confirmed. The device will weigh 185 grams despite the fact it uses a 6,000mAh+ battery. That is another proof that OnePlus will use a silicon-carbon battery.
The OnePlus 13T has also appeared on the MIIT certification authority in China, not to mention it popped up on AnTuTu as well. It managed to score over 3 million on AnTuTu. To be accurate, the score was 3,006,913, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite is also listed. That confirms the SoC, basically.
AnTuTu also confirmed that 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM is included in this unit, along with 512GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage. A 120Hz display was also mentioned, as was Android 15. The OnePlus 13T was confirmed to launch in April, but we still don’t know the exact launch date.
