Intro to Calypso

Calypso is a post-quantum secure cryptographic system for conveyance and storage of confidential business information. I thought this would be a good time to give a general impression of what that means and will look like. There are two user touch points. The first is calypso command line tooling which has some overall resemblance to things like pgp. This will allow for storage, signing, encrypting documents and email, and similar functionality using Calypso cryptography and secure storage. The second are messaging clients which allow exchange of messages and e2ee secure real-time media (voice and video), with an option to provision for full regulatory compliance (cyclopse, which is a special automated audit client, not shown here) where needed for certain industries. The backend for Calypso is ogygia, and this uses a sql server. The backend is also effectively federated; any collection of users are hosted together under a private or hosted administrative domain. The touch point for administration of a given domain will be the QOC.
