Correspondence Beyond Horizons
This is a submission for the Future Writing Challenge: How Technology Is Changing Things. The central theme of this letter is the contrast between two parallel worlds—one shaped by the rapid evolution of AI and another where technological progress is still in the early 20th century. While I’ve previously written letters to my younger self in the previous life, this time, I've reached beyond time itself—into a parallel universe. In this reality, my other self exists in the same year, 2025, but her world is defined by steam engines, telegrams, and early industry rather than artificial intelligence, automation, and digital revolutions. This is a conversation across dimensions—a glimpse into the ripple effects of progress and what it truly means to live in the age of AI. Dear Another Me, So, here’s the deal.
