4. Never Alone: Ki Editition

Never Alone is a staggeringly beautiful, atmospheric puzzle platformer created in collaboration with the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people, with the story taken from a traditional Iñupiat tale that's been shared across generations.

In this game, you play as Nuna and Fox – switching between the two as you please – who set out to find the source of an eternal blizzard that threatens the survival of everything they have ever known. Never Alone explores the Iñupiat's close relationship with nature and gives us an insight into their fascinating culture.

5. WWF Free Rivers

This immersive storytelling experience lets you see the importance of rivers in five distinct habitats based on real places: the Himalayan mountains, tropical jungles, African savannah, South American grasslands, and Southeast Asian deltas.

You'll find out how each of these rivers plays a pivotal part in the lives of the people and wildlife that live near them, and get to see what happens if its flow is affected. For example, you can put a dam in the river and see what the outcome would be. 6. Get Water!

In endless side-scroller, Get Water!, you play as Maya, an avid student who keeps being pulled out of class to collect clean water.

Your quest is made more challenging by pesky monkeys, flying turtles, and other foes that you fend off with your boomerang. As you collect more water, you unlock new skills from school to collect it faster and better protect it. Get Water! highlights the struggles a lack of clean water can have on children's education and how water can be better preserved.
