The fresh capital will help the company develop next-generation imaging payloads for autonomous ISR, high-speed imaging for space applications, as well as support its market expansion amid growing demand, strategic partnerships, and an expanding customer base.

“We’re really excited to back Optimized Electrotech, a company that’s pushing boundaries in defence and deep-tech innovation,” said Arpit Agarwal of Blume Ventures.

He added, “Their expertise in AI-driven surveillance and electro-optic solutions fits right into India’s push for self-reliance in critical sectors. This investment isn’t just about funding—it’s about our belief in their ability to lead the way in technology and make a real impact.”

In a statement, Sandeep Shah, Founder and MD of OEPL, said, “The future of warfare will be shaped by machines, intelligence, and rapid decision-making."

"At Optimized Electrotech, we develop AI-based imaging solutions that enable faster, smarter decisions. With strong government support for indigenous tech, we see this as a critical moment to build capacity. This funding validates our vision and will help us enhance our capabilities and contribute to India’s strategic goals,” he added.

OEPL has been recognised for its innovation with four patents and multiple iDEX Challenge wins, including the ADITI award. With a strong focus on indigenous development and strategic surveillance, the company continues to advance India’s presence in defence and deep tech sectors.
