Summary: The CMF Phone 2 Pro is set to launch next week. The brand has now shared the back design of this phone, revealing a unique dual-tone color choice.

Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, will unveil the CMF Phone 2 Pro on 28th April. The brand will also launch the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. The CMF Buds 2 are already available for purchase in some regions before the official launch date. While there’s still a week left for the official unveiling of the smartphone, the brand today has shared the official design of the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Dual-tone finish with a replaceable back design

Nothing shared a short 11-second teaser video on its CMF by Nothing’ X (formerly Twitter) account. In the video, we can see the complete back design of the phone in two distinct color options: Orange and White.

Both color options have a dual-tone finish. The first half of the back has a lighter shade, while the bottom part has a slightly darker shade. The brand is continuing the signature orange color shade from the CMF Phone 1. The white color wasn’t available with the CMF Phone 1. It is set to make its debut with the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Four stainless steel screws are visible on the back. These will be helpful to change the back panel of the device, similar to the CMF Phone 1. The brand will also launch separate back cover options in multiple colors and finishes. These back panels, however, will be sold separately.

The bottom right side of the phone has a rotating dial similar to the previous model. It’s an attachment point for additional accessories like a stand or lanyard.

The phone’s side frame appears to be made from plastic. Volume buttons are present on the right frame. The left side has the Essential Key button and the power button. The Essential Key will activate the Essential Space functions, similar to how it works on the Nothing Phone 3a series.

An improved triple rear camera setup

Nothing had officially revealed the camera specs of the CMF Phone 2 Pro earlier. The CMF Phone 2 Pro will use a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.57-inch sensor, which should be the largest in its segment. It also features another 50-megapixel telephoto lens that supports 2x zoom. Again, a first in this segment. The third sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide camera lens with a 119.5-degree field of view.

In comparison, the CMF Phone 1 uses a dual camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. Based on these upgrades, the CMF Phone 2 Pro makes a significant leap in the camera department.
