Why I Made Arctic Depth
❄️ Inspiration Behind the Theme I got tired of choosing themes that looked nice but didn’t hit the spot once I actually started using them. Arctic Depth is something I made for myself. A theme that has a sense of falling into still, dark water. It's cool colored, low contrast, and surprisingly quiet. I wanted something that wouldn't remind me over and over again that I was in an IDE. I wanted something that gives the vibe of not "home" exactly, but similar. Something that gives a sense of familiarity, safety, mine. A space that lets me breathe while I build. That’s the vibe I was going for: cozy on a cold night. So I decided to make a theme that hit the spot I was looking for: A soft, balanced contrast that doesn’t burn my eyes at 1AM A color palette that represents who I am A mood that feels like winter: still, focused, clear, and most importantly, a little bit cozy

❄️ Inspiration Behind the Theme

Arctic Depth is something I made for myself. A theme that has a sense of falling into still, dark water. It's cool colored, low contrast, and surprisingly quiet. I wanted something that wouldn't remind me over and over again that I was in an IDE. I wanted something that gives the vibe of not "home" exactly, but similar. That’s the vibe I was going for: cozy on a cold night.
So I decided to make a theme that hit the spot I was looking for:
- A soft, balanced contrast that doesn’t burn my eyes at 1AM
- A color palette that represents who I am
- A mood that feels like winter: still, focused, clear, and most importantly, a little bit cozy
