The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D price won’t be cheap, if this leak is correct
Unconfirmed pricing for the new AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D gaming CPU, along with the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D, has just been leaked online. While AMD hasn’t released the official prices just yet for these new gaming processors, this new leak suggests that the launch prices for both chips could be remarkably similar to their predecessors, the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D and 7950X3D. AMD officially unveiled the Ryzen 9 9500X3D and 9900X3D at the CES 2025 trade show in January 2025, and while a release date hasn’t officially been announced, a release window of Q1 2025 has been mentioned. With the new Zen 5 architecture and 12 to 16 cores between them, we expect these chips to reasonably compete with the best gaming CPUs on the market, even if the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is still expected to remain on top for raw gaming performance.
