Nintendo Switch 2 Preorders Delayed Due To Tariffs, Release Date Still June 5
Nintendo fans won't have to wait much longer to get their hands on the Switch 2. The successor to one of the best-selling video game consoles of all time is slated to release June 5, Nintendo announced during its hour-long livestream that fully lifted the veil on the Switch 2. You will have to wait a bit longer than expected to preorder the Nintendo Switch 2, though. After initially announcing a preorder date of April 9, Nintendo has delayed preorders in the US while it assesses the new tariffs imposed by the Trump Administration. When preorders do eventually go live, the Switch 2 will be available on its own for $450 or the Switch 2 bundled with Mario Kart World for $500.
