Pixel 10 Pro XL price hike could shake up Google’s lineup
The Pixel 10 Pro XL price might see a jump by $100, making buyers think twice between Google's flagship phones. The post Pixel 10 Pro XL price hike could shake up Google’s lineup appeared first on Phandroid.

Looks like the Pixel 10 Pro XL price is going up. A source close to the matter tells Android Headlines that Google is planning around a $100 increase for the Pro XL model. If that holds, the phone will land at about $1200—creating a bigger gap between the Pixel 10 lineup. Worth noting that this price change doesn’t affect the regular Pixel 10 Pro, just the XL model.
This move feels pretty calculated. Right now, the jump from the base model to the Pro is predictable. However, with this new pricing, Google is forcing buyers to think harder about which Pixel suits them best. Apple did something similar with the iPhone 15 Pro Max by killing off the 128GB model and starting at 256GB instead. Google could follow that playbook, especially if it’s looking to push higher margins or larger storage tiers.
It’s a smart strategy. After all, Google’s Pixel 9 series did well, helped by a solid price point and big improvements to the phone’s thermals and modem. With the Pixel 10 series, it looks like Google wants to stretch the lineup even further.
If the leak holds, the Pixel family is about to get a bit more complicated—but maybe also a bit more interesting. Google will launch its new Pixel 10 smartphones later this year, but we could get a sneak peek at Google I/O 2025 next month.
