187/365 | ¥10M Job Challenge - Taking risks

In this day and age, to some extent, taking risks is necessary. The path you choose might determine whether you’ll still have a job and income in the future. But if you’re going to take a gamble, you need to narrow your focus and increase your chances of success. There’s no need to get too caught up in the latest LLM models. No matter how much the scores improve, each LLM has its own characteristics and Prompt compatibility. You can usually figure that out with some basic testing. There’s nothing wrong with using older models either. What’s more important is keeping an eye on costs. Also, if it takes more time to write a Prompt than to just do the work yourself, then what’s the point? Even though junior-level positions might disappear, I still believe a solid technical foundation is critical. In the past, very few people wanted to put in the work to build that foundation, but those who did often became top professionals in the industry. In this age of AI where answers come quickly, even fewer people will want to do the groundwork. That’s exactly why it’s worth the effort to learn. The weekend’s here again, but it already feels like the next two days are fully booked. Still, make sure to get enough sleep and find time to work out. Let’s go!
